Since it's been a couple days since we have blogged, we thought we'd write a little bit of an update on how George is doing. Tuesday and Wednesday were a bit more rough, and we think the ambulance ride took a bit more of a toll on him than we thought it would. George was so exhausted all the time and had no desire to try moving around. Today was more positive again, he had more sparkle in his eyes. He was able to sit up at the edge of the bed without back support for both lunch & supper, which was a first. The nurse also took him off the oxygen for about a half hour to see how he would respond and was able to keep it out! He did put it back in after supper because even sitting up is hard work for him. He is still very tired and weak but with time and effort strength will return. We have a lot to praise God for, He has done an amazing work in George's body!
We won't be updating the blog every day since there really won't be a lot changing on a daily basis at this point. Thank-you for all your prayers and support during this time!
It is so good to hear that you are doing so good, George. We have been praying for you George, Della and your family throughout the weeks that you have been sick. We read your blog everyday and rejoiced with you at the steps of improvement that George was making. We serve an AWESOME God and He is the Master Healer! We have also experienced a miracle of healing when He healed Jake of his stomach and pancreas problems a year ago now. Our prayers will continue be with you. Love in Christ, Jake & Helena Elias
